6 years ago at 4 am I got the most devestating news any 12 year old could get, hell any person could get. I knew something wasnt right in my moms voice, she had been crying and when she kissed me on the forehead and held me and said your dad, hes gone I lost it. At that point my world stopped spinning, I wanted to do nothing but hear it was a sick joke. I wished it was, and sometimes I think hell still come back. Losing a parent is by far the hardest thing Ive ever had to endure. I will always miss my dad. Whether its today, tomorrow, next week, or next year. Every memory without him is a hard one. I grew up faster than Ive ever seen someone do. I became the most loving, forgiving, thought ful person because of it. Death has taught me many things in life, most of all to be thankful for the ones you have, tell them you love them a little bit more, hug them whenever you get the chance. Life can change in an instant. I love you dad, and thank you for watching out for me through it all, you may not have been able to hold my hand when I needed it, or talked me out of doing something stupid, or taught me most things a father would, but I know youve seen it all. Rest in peace tough guy. ♡
