#746 I understand we have some assignments for homework that is a team effort in ENGR 100. On the first day of class I have given my google number to one of the girls in my group but never received any notifications on my phone. So I worked on my own sheet of paper for the team assignment since I had not taken down any other girls numbers in the group. However, I did come to class a few minutes late in the next class session and asked them if we decided on whose paper to submit and they said they already did. After the last class session I had asked for one of the girl’s number and she finds out I did not receive her group texts. She tried texting me but I did not receive it, and so she wrote her number down and I texted her from there. I still have not received a response from her. I later realize they could have called me because I did not receive the iPhone group text messages. I know it is also my fault on not having better communication, but it has also been a little tough working together as a group during class. We hardly communicate and I dont have good people skills. I have gotten 100% on every assignment except that first team homework they submitted without my name. Now I realize my homework this weekend is a team effort, and I have finished my team homework assignment. I checked my emails and google voice and all, but I do not see anything from the team. Any advice? I have also changed my number and got a new phone considering my old phone was an old cracked iPhone 4. Its funny because in one of our reading assignments, it stated that we need to have good communication and people skill if we want to be engineers. These girls still havent gotten out of that phase of looking pretty and being stuck up. (I feel like I am studying college with high school attitudes. I know Im not much better but thats why Im here asking for advice on how to better the situation and myself).
