8 months ago we bought a Vizio flat screen tv and installed it over a mantel with the wiring snaked inside the wall. Well over a week ago when the power button was pushed the tv made a loud pop, wafts of smoke came out as well as a strong electrical burning smell. It is under warranty. Weve jumped through every hoop. We unplugged it, removed it, took photos of its serial number, scanned and emailed our receipt. All I want is a refund to buy a new tv or a replacement tv. Theyve called a bunch of times and keep telling us they want to send someone out to fix it. No. I dont care if its some easy fix. I didnt pay all this money to own a tv that snaps, crackles and friggin pops after a few months of use. Ive been patient. Am I being unrealistic? Unreasonable? I worked for an insurance adjuster for yeeeears, I really dont think my request is outrageous. Im getting pissed off. I worked hard and saved up, waiting for the black Friday sale for this tv. Almost ready to tag their company page and post daily until they make this right. Give me back my #@&¥€¿× tv!!
