9 year old 16hh Fully Registered Connemara Gelding: This handsome boy has done a bit of everything since being with us and has never put a foot wrong. He excels at cross country due to being bold as brass and will jump anything you point him at. Would make a super hunt horse and will be anyone’s ride on the field as well as being the smartest looking. To hack out he is a dream and will go first or last, snaffle mouthed likewise with cross country and never spooky or silly. Both myself and my 16 year old daughter hack him and I haven’t properly ridden since my teens and he has completely filled me with confidence. He has done all Pony Club activities including camp, including taking a friend of ours this year and looking after her and completing double clear in 3 ft ODE at end of week. He has a huge scopey jump and will never say no when jumping, however enjoys being out in open spaces jumping cross country rather than being schooled or ‘cooped’ up in an arena. He does enjoy his show jumping but will do it for fun and is not suitable for someone competitive who will want to push him higher and faster every week. Never bucked, kicked, reared or bolted just a genuine horse who wants to please. He is the easiest horse to handle on the ground, to shoe, clip, bath and load whilst having the sweetest loving nature. This is a heart-breaking sale of a much adored horse, who is the most affectionate and attentive horse we have ever met, however my daughter has a show jumping horse and I have a new job so he is currently being ridden by friends as we just don’t have the time. He would suit a mother/daughter share, riding club home, hunt home, simply have fun with and more than anything give him lots of love and attention.
