9 years ago at a routine visit to my mechanic, I was greeted with a box of kittens,... this beautiful little gray and white princess with big green eyes climbed out of the box, up my leg and into my heart,... needless to say, I took Stella home with me. she grew into the most beautiful kitty in all the land. she loved everyone, including the dog (who she loved so much she allowed beasel to attempt to nurse all of her litters). today, I held my princess as she took her last breath,.... she had gone missing (we fear with assistance from a nasty neighbor who has threatened to trap all the neighborhood animals - we already had one of our kitties wind up over in Terra Ceia - to those of you not from here - there is no possible way our cat couldve gotten there on his own,....) when she returned she was severely emaciated - starving, dehydrated, with the worse case of jaundice our vet had ever seen caused by liver failure - brought on by lack of nutrients) I dont know what kind of sick person could neglect a living creature like this - but since we know she was well before she went missing, and know she is able to hunt and fend for herself, its pretty obvious that someone had a hand in this. she was so bad off that for the last week and a half we have taken her to the vet, been force feeding and hydrating her, giving her meds and doing all we could to nurse her back to health, but there was nothing more to be done. Im so glad that I could be there with her and for her today, to snuggle her up and I hope make her feel safe and at peace in her last moments. im so proud of my 6 year old and 5 year old for giving her kisses and for praying for God and Jesus to take care of her. I appreciate my husband, Jason Thomas Giacomel for leaving work to come home and find her a spot in the back yard where she can be close to us always,.... and im hopeful that the person/people responsible for this disgusting travesty rot in hell. I will miss you, Stella,.... love you
