The car was to be put into storage over Winter and so after a full 2-bucket wash and decontamination the wheels were removed to clean and re-seal their inside faces and the arches and suspension and brake components were thoroughly cleansed and dried to prevent corrosion. Once the interior had been cleaned and vacuumed the bodywork was treated with an anti-static product to prevent dust and other airborne particles clinging to the surfaces during the cars Winter rest.
