Saberi E-Mail: [email protected] See below: Dear all, I am writing to share information about a study that I helping with Columbia University Lamont-Doherty Laboratories (CU). This is an inter-facility collaboration with University of Pennsylvania Center of Excellence in Environmental Toxicology. The primary objective is to investigate the groundwater quality of the New York / Pennsylvania border region. In summary, these three counties share very similar geological anatomies with their sister counties over the New York border. Comparing the ground water quality on each side will help set benchmarks. Also, it may help with what is naturally occurring in ground water and what is not. Here is how it will work: any resident of Bradford, Susquehanna or Tioga, PA county who is interested, will fill out and mail in the contact form attached and or email/call me. CU will then mail them a package that includes instructions (video and written) and specimen bottles on how and where to collect the samples. The residents will then obtain and mail the samples back in the prepaid package. Once CU has analyzed the results, I will mail them a letter explaining what they mean.
