A Letter from Principal Barber: Tomorrow is one of my favorite days of the year - the first day of school! It is so exciting to see the students return from summer break, eager and ready to learn. To hear the hustle and bustle of kids entering the school and getting ready for class puts a huge smile on my face. For those families and students who are new to Ben Franklin Academy I want to welcome you to the school. Important Reminders Formal Uniform Day tomorrow - Students need to wear khaki bottoms and the navy blue shirt with the embroidered B on the first day of school and the first Wednesday of every month thereafter. BASE Drop-Off: 6:45 AM Morning Carpool begins: 7:45 AM School starts: 8:15 AM Kindergarten Full-Day/AM Kindergarten begins at 8:30 am tomorrow only, instead of the normal 8:15. Following carpool (after 8:15), parents can park and walk kindergartners to their classrooms. Immediately after drop off, kindergarten parents are invited to join the BooHoo/Yahoo on the north side of the building to enjoy light refreshments and commiserate/celebrate with other kindergarten parents.
