A Rally has been scheduled to take place in downtown Hot Springs on Tuesday November 18, 2014 from 4-6pm. The Board of Directors have failed to meet with the Concerned Citizens Group after promising us they would. The Board also has failed to answer the Communitys questions after telling all of us at the meeting they would. Another town meeting will be scheduled soon, but first we are going to hit the streets of downtown Hot Springs to show we are united, committed and determined! The Board of Directors seem arrogant in their emails to our group. It is obvious that they some of them believe they do not have to address any issues because they dominate the Board thus rule the Hospital. We have just a few weeks more than a month before a lot of our Doctors leave. Less time than that when you realize that they are receiving offers from other hospitals and will chose soon to take an offer. We need to show up in force and fill up the sidewalks of Hot Springs. Feel free to bring your own signs, keep it clean, this is Bath County and we will be on display in the news. Bring your friends, neighbors and even your kids. It is our Hospital we are gathering together to save. It is important now more than ever to have a great turn out! If you can not rally then at least drive by and blow your horn! More details will follow. Ive never asked Bath County Citizen for a thing, but please fill up the streets for us. Please forward this message to everyone by placing it on your board. The word needs to spread far and wide. Anyone who loves Bath Community Hospital is welcome to attend and very much appreciated. The Board of Directors are welcome to show up and stand with the Community in the streets since they chose to sit with the Community at our meeting. It will give us a chance to get to know you better!
