A SHOUT OUT TO KEIFS REEF (right off 176 on the Fox River) I havent been to Keifs Reef in ages and I dont know why.....my husband and I finally went last night with two other couples. I just love its small supper club feel. How many places are left that give you a small loaf of bread when you sit down and I cant remember the last time I served myself at a full salad bar. I ordered perch and my mouth dropped when a plate of EIGHT perfectly done pieces if fish, a baked potato and large helping of vegetables arrived - including the salad bar all for $10.95! Everyone at our table loved their dishes which included a rack of ribs, prime rib, and a steak sandwich - all overflowing on the plate and very reasonably priced. We watched the Hawks game on two large screen TVs right in the dining area. All night I kept thinking - why havent I been here sooner? If you want delish food at a great price - old school style - go to Keifs Reef! Ill be back sooner rather than later :)
