A WordPress based website (with your own domain name & hosting account) will allow you to have a fully functioning business website and blog integrated all under the one domain name. The biggest mistake Ive seen is having your business name under one web address and then signing up for a free blog from blogger or WordPress with a different address. Its the blog that will bring the Google & visitor love to your site - they need to be together under the one domain name.
