A beautiful message: Our little girl turned one yesterday and so even though we have never met you, it seems like a good time to thank you for all the support you have given us over the first year of being parents. There is such a wide variety of (often contradicting!) information out there for new parents and while at the end of the day I believe you just have to do what feels right for you and your family, we constantly found that your posts and advice felt right for us and gave us some of the tools and skills we needed to be the parents we wanted to be. I know you brought a lot of comfort to my partner who is a great researcher and, as a lot of new mums do, felt a lot of pressure to get it right. Your mixture of factual information and real life advice was perfect and made her feel that the style of parenting that felt natural to her was not only normal but also a great start in life for our little girl. So thanks again for helping us make it this far Pinky. We are looking forward to the next installment - parenting a toddler!!!
