A brief riposte to the intemperate, if not deranged, Deputy Ambassador of the Israeli Embassy in Ireland, wife of the apartheid Ambassador, Nurit Tinari Modai. I am an Irish heathen. I agitate as determinedly and effectively as I can against Zionism, without the slightest trace of anti-Jewish sentiment in my being. Recognising the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to live peaceful lives with justice and dignity in their own land, I accuse Israel of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and of committing persistent acts of genocide. I burn with indignation at the sight of the Israeli flag, the symbol of a state built on a disgusting ideology which is in itself a lie. I promote to the best of my ability the voluntary participation of the public in boycotting everything Israeli - tainted ideas, tainted produce, tainted services and tainted propaganda. I protest in my city for Palestine and against Israel at every opportunity, to frustrate Israeli attempts to make my people complicit in Israels criminal occupation of Palestine, and to challenge Israels perpetual oppression of the Palestinian people. People of conscience have no choice in this matter but to win. Palestine will be free!
