A candid account of the unfolding events on Mauna Kea. A few groups came together to voice their disapproval of TMT, DLNR, UH, SOH, investors and developers. Mahalo for all who participated throughout the island and elsewhere in the world who have cause for concern for the desecration of the mountain without approval of the Hawaiian Kingdom subjects. What was assured of only one telescope, this proposed new one makes it 13 on the summit. Haleakala has a few which was surprising years ago without so much as a peep. Why all these telescopes on our two mauna? There were other options but not as alluring as Hawaii. It was more for pleasant convenience for the U.S. to have it on Hawaii. More reason why the U.S. must de-occupy the Hawaiian Kingdom.
