A charge of $100,000 per second for access to Watson would be well - TopicsExpress

A charge of $100,000 per second for access to Watson would be well worth the cost on the city and county budget. Not only did Watson beat the two best jeopardy players of all time, it can outperform any human when diagnosing cancer - as was headlined on Wired. With some 20,000 municipal governments nationwide, a significant minority of these could collectively afford to generate a few billion in revenue per annum for bundled inquiries. If you watch the video illustrating how Watson works, you can detect a freedom from the absurd in how it inferences. Imagine how this would serve the debate by envisioning a Ted Yoho and Keith Perry (my favorite whipping boys) making a statement on stage that tax cuts create economic growth while such statements get inspected in real time. This system could serve the people like no elected official ever could, by attempting to get at the truth unencumbered by dogma. Think of how the stupid 8th Avenue arguments would have been obliterated and, new, unforeseen opportunities presented simply by having a very small window of access to such a database. Indeed, one day the people will gain access to it and they will elect a new breed of government officials who are more reasonable in their views. I can see the counterargument now, There you lefties go using the bankrupt foundation of mathematics to build your arguments. - Tea Party year 2020. https://youtube/watch?v=_Xcmh1LQB9I
