A chief...today is the Chief Petty Officer Birthday!!! Ive had some interesting chiefs this far...Chief Pearson taught me that if you cant get an answer,go further...dont be afraid to ask a chief,they are your subject field experts!!! Chief Lewis taught me the importance of BUSINESS!!! Demand respect and know your shit!! If you play the game right and govern by the book,ull never go wrong... They werent chiefs who took themselves to serious..they werent afraid to go hard for their ppl,instead of talking down to u,they helped you understand things in a way that made u wana be a better sailor!!! Those two chiefs make me wana be a chief one day..I dont want my junior personnel to fear me,hell Im here to help u!! So shout out to my two favorite chiefs!!! I still carry the lessons they taught with me as my naval career progresses!!! Oh and Master Chief Jones and Senior Chief Tolbert!!! Cant forget them,lol they believe that if you do what you are told,there is no harm in enjoying work!!! No one likes a stick in the mud!!! Great chiefs man great chiefs!!!
