A co worker and I were discussing assisted suicide. Under no circumstances would I ever take my own life. God forbid I became extremely ill. No matter, if our LORD endured his crucifixion, who am I to decide what kind of death I should encounter. If I should die a painful death so be it. Does a soldier run from his troops during a battle, even though he knows a painful death awaits, No. Does a child at St Judes complain or run from their pain No. Somehow we find it ok to play God. If we have to die a painful death face it. Jesus didnt run or committ suicide, he died THE most painful death and was crucified. Face YOUR destiny.
