A comment elsewhere on this page reminded me that one of my favourite things about touring the UK is the range and diversity of our accents, changing significantly over such small distances. London even has two distinct accents these days. Theyre all fascinating as far as Im concerned but the highlights will be a bit of Scouse in Liverpool and some Geordie in Newcastle. Bristol and London (both versions) will be comforting and although I have a strong personal connection with the west coast of Scotland Ill still be marvelling at how foreign tourists get by in Glasgow. https://youtube/watch?v=-8mzWkuOxz8
