A few months ago, my daughters home was in danger of being consumed by the San Marcos fire. Heroic firefighters were able to save it through horrific high temps and relentless winds. Now my little sisters home in Placerville is threatened by the King fire. Once again, high winds are a factor. Please send positive vibrations that this lovely cabin is spared. Laurie built it from the ground up, with her own two hands. She was evacuated last night but hopefully the firefighters will be able to get the blaze under control soon.....
