A few years ago I broke my neck for the second time. At the the time,I also hurt my ankle,and it was swollen and black and blue for weeks,but because I had to focus my time and my money on a now required second neck surgery--- I had to put my ankle on the back burner. Well,this week I went to my neck surgeon,and next week- I have to have some day surgery. He also wants me to go to the jaw doctor since I injured that too. After going to the expensive eye doctor today,I finally went to the ankle doctor,and he asked me why I waited so long,and how I could be so stoic. Apparently,when I broke my,neck I also tore three ligaments on my ankle,and my leg- all the way through. This explains my swelling and pain every night. I am NOW facing six weeks of PT,and surgery. But putting it into perspective, I dont have cancer,and I have parents who love me and good friends.Vicki Vicky Miller came by tonight and cooked.me dinner. Laura Adams took me to Vegas,and Casey Boland was there for me when.my dog died. Life is a journey,and sometimes we just have to hold on for the ride I suppose. Oh,and I like my students too. More money would.be helpful ,but I am okay. I shall take a bath in Epsom salt tonight,and hug my dog,and then go see my dad in the nursing home this week,and let him know and my mom know that I love them. I also need to.let my neighbors Leland Hancock and his wife know how.much they are appreciated. I am sorry for the long post as this is not normally like me. Thanks for.letting me wax too long.
