A former student of HSU, Shane Anderson, has produced his own movie about his love for steelhead and fly fishing. The movie looks at the many reasons the steelhead stock is declining and offers ideas by respected fisheries biologist for improvement. Shane explores the fishery throughout the west coast, including our local rivers, and has some other big local sponsors like; Friends of the Eel River, Cal Trout to name a few. The movie is scheduled to premier Thursday, September 25th at the Arcata Theater Lounge.
