A friend from my grief group passed away Sunday. He was such a nice gentleman. He had grief from a wife, daughter & son that he was trying to overcome when about 3 weeks ago he had a heart attack & he called 911 hisself. On examination they found he needed a stent in his heart. While trying to decide if they could do a non-invasive surgery, they found he had stage 4 esphogal cancer. His decision was to do nothing & refused all. His life gone in a matter of one month with no indication to anyone in the group that we would lose such a good man.. We just never know when it happens, but when I visited him at Lakeview he said he was ready. He missed his family. I hope he is with all his family and enjoying all that is to come. Howard Larcom was an inspiration for our group.
