A friend of mine asked a timely question, “If Islamic extremist were to come banging down your door! Would you convert to Islam or Die?” Good question! Her question immediately reminded me of a dream I had. I had an end time dream, on March 2011. I dreamed I was in a building with others and we were all sitting on the floor with our backs up against a wall. A man who had glasses on with black frames (who the devil was clearly using; I will call him the “evil man”), walked up to each one of us and asked one question. He came to the man sitting next to me who was actually sitting higher than me on a table and asked, “Do you want to change to my religion?” The man was scared but knew what was at stake (his very life) and said to the evil man, “I have been thinking about this lately and, yes, I would.” Then, this evil man walked closer to the man’s face sitting on the table and the man opened his mouth wide. While it was opened, this evil man breathed into his mouth very fiercely. His breath was so fierce, that you could almost see fire. Then, this evil man walked over to me and asked the same question. I was afraid but I calmly said, “No” In my heart; I wanted no part of it. But right before I answered him “No”, I thought to myself, “After I say, ‘No,’ he’ll probably grab me by my hair and drag me around.” But there is one thing I knew for sure. I would not deny My Lord Jesus. After I said, “No”, the evil man retracted his head back slightly away from me, turned his head at about a 45 degree angle and looked away from me. He thought for a moment, as I starred at his black framed glasses, and I KNEW WHAT HE WAS THINKING (Luke 11:17). He was thinking, “I’ll come back to her later.” And he left. END OF DREAM. There is so much in this dream. There is some symbolism in this dream, but most of it is literal. Not only non-believers but ALL Christians who cave in under this pressure of the devil and deny the Lord Jesus Christ will not make it to heaven. Jesus clearly says: • Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32 33 The man who was sitting next to me was sitting “HIGHER on a table” which represented his pride. A table represents a person’s heart because the Lord tells us to bind his commandments upon the TABLE OF OUR HEARTS (Prov. 7:3 KJV). This man’s pride in his heart ruined him and he wanted to save his own life. The Lord clearly says: • “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:24 26 When the evil man breathed fiercely into this man’s mouth, he was breathing “death” into this man. His fate of eternal damnation was sealed forever who was filled with pride in his heart and denied the Lord Jesus Christ who gave His life to save this man. When the evil man retracted his head from me, it reminded me of this verse: • “Therefore submit to God. RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:7 10 Isn’t this just like the devil? The devil comes to us to tempt us and we are to resist him. By doing so, he will flee from us (“. . . the evil man retracted his head . . . .” and “He thought for a moment, . . . .” and thought, “I’ll come back to her later. And he left.”) Then, at an opportune time, the devil comes back to try to tempt us again. The solution? RESIST HIM. We are living in the last days where MANY ALL OVER THE WORLD are having dreams and visions of our Lord’s return and dreams such as this one in nature because of what’s coming. Time is running short and the signs of the times are all around us and each person will have to make their decision FOR or AGAINST Christ in this antichrist world we are living in. In the dream, I saw something else and that is no matter what situation we are in, God will give us the supernatural things that we need, when we need them, according to His grace and mercy, to get us through whatever trial we may face. The supernatural example in the dream was “I KNEW WHAT HE WAS THINKING.” Jesus did the same thing in Luke 6:8 and Luke 11:17. Praise God that believers in Christ have the Holy Spirit who “TELLS US THINGS TO COME” (John 16:13) and Jesus Christ lives in the believer–CHRIST IN YOU (Col 1:26-27). The good news is that LIFE is only found in Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. Jesus, who is the Son of God, offers ETERNAL LIFE to all those who would call upon His name and follow Him. The Lord Jesus tells us to REPENT (Matt. 4:17) and to PUT OUR FAITH AND TRUST IN HIM. “Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom 5:1). AFTER we are saved from our sins AND from the wrath of God which is coming upon the sons of disobedience (Matt. 1:21 and Col 3:6), then we should read the Bible to find out and DO the Father’s Will (Matt. 7:21). • Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:5 6 • He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may KNOW that you have eternal life, and that you may CONTINUE to believe in the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:12-13
