A friend posted this on her wall and it made me chuckle... :-D Twas the night before Christmas & all through the house, nothing would fit not even a blouse. The stuffing Id nibbled the turkey Id taste, the yummies Id eaten had gone straight to my waist. The wine & the mince pies, the bread & the cheese... no thank you, please... So as I dressed myself in my husband’s old shirt, I couldnt believe my bottom & belly...the girth! I said to myself, as only I can you cant spend the year disguised as a man! So away with the last of the sour cream dip, get rid of the fruitcake, every cracker and chip. Every last bit of food that I like must be banished til all the additional ounces have vanished. I won’t have a cookie, not even a lick, instead Ill chew on a celery stick. I wont have Irish coffee, chocolate or pie... Ill munch on a carrot and quietly cry; Im hungry, Im lonesome & life is a bore – but isnt that what Januarys for? Unable to giggle, no longer a riot, Happy New Year to all & to all a good diet.
