A great big pat on the back for the array of folks who came together to stop the PSNI/RUC from marching in the St. Patricks Day parade in NYC - from all spectrums of the Republican movement here and abroad, plus the regular joes and janes, it was nice to see everyone working in concert for once. Outside of the obvious morale boost, one of the key things to take away from this is that the PSNI contingent was invited at the suggestion of the Free State consular general; this is nothing but an attempt at normalisation our opinion, and now the offensive should be brought home to them. Let them be held accountable and explain their actions. Let us not forget also the Free State police, who are invited to take part in this parade without a question about the unjustifiable attack that was launched on funeral of our late Chief Ruairí Ó Brádaigh. Shame on them and all collaborators with British rule in Ireland.
