A great thing that God has done for me is being with my dad as on the 24th of this month (June) he fell In a grocery store here in Tahoe and broke his hip. He had to have surgery for it, and the Doctors were really worried about doing the surgery and his recovery.. He has many health problems and is on 24 hr oxygen. They said he was a 10 out 10 risk... But the surgery needed to be done... It was done on the 25th.. Minutes before the surgery I rushed to hospital, really worried about my dads operation, I cried as I held my dads hand wondering if this would be the last time I would see him.. I could see the tears in his eyes and hear in his voice how scared he was, and the worry look on his face... Finally the surgeon came in, I asked him if we could say a prayer before he takes him in for surgery.. The doctor said yes and that he always says a prayer before he does any surgeries, I was just expecting him to join in or bow his head with us... But it was wonderful that he himself said the prayer as him,my mom, dad and I joined hands he led the prayer and asked God to watch over the anisteazoligist and him as he does the surgery... That made me feel really good and I felt like that moment that Jesus came down at that moment and was there with him... I felt a sense of comfort after that and knew that everything was gonna be ok... And it was... I am so grateful that our Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus was there and helped him... They said that he did ay better than they even though he would... I know Jesus was there...Today he got to go home.. Still gotta work with him to get him up and around but I know with the help and of God he will have speedy recovery and be up and around in no time...
