A highlight of the Delaware Audubon Annual Meeting and Heron Happy Hours Event will be the presentation of Delaware Audubon’s Annual Conservation Award to Pat Todd, Natural Resources co-chair of the League of Women Voters of Delaware. The News Journal featured Pat Todd in 2011 and named her one of “50 Delawareans Who Matter: A list of Delawares unsung heroes” – people who make a difference in all of our lives. She was chosen for her environmental achievements. Pat Todd did remarkable work advocating for Delaware’s two major recycling bills, beginning in 1976, and following up with the most recent legislation enacted in 2011. She has provided a lifetime of service to our friends at the League of Women Voters. She has worked on a wide variety of environmental issues in Delaware, as the LWV-DE lobbyist and energy policy director. Join us on Saturday, December 6th and meet Pat Todd.
