A long, storied holiday full of tradition and themes of togetherness - Apparently, the spirit of Hanukkah suits me best, and Im not even Jewish! It claims that I am a social person and tend to view myself as a part of a whole, rather than simply an individual. Hanukkah is about family, and about reaching beyond your own blood into the community to take care of those around you - something I identify with deeply. As a creature of habit, tradition runs deep through my veins as do my ties to anyone I consider family.
