A longtime friend and co-worker, James (Jim) Woods, has recently had to undergo triple bypass surgery. The surgery went great and he is recovering well, however his family is faced with enormous expense. Jim does have insurance, but unfortunately the out of pocket costs are in the thousands. Jim has served his community as police officer for many years and could use a little help from those, in which he has dedicated his life. This post is not trying to slight people in other professions, merely a plea for help! Lt. Woods has spent a great portion of his life protecting the public and helping us rest easy in our lives. Any help that you could provide for him would be a great way to say Thank You for all the years of service. Any monetary donations will be gladly accepted at the Hawkins County Sheriffs Office.
