A lot of things have been happening with Golden Kidz lately so I want to take this time to thank some key people that have made Golden Kidz what it is today!! First let me begin by saying thank you to Josie Butcher and her sweet mom Brittany CancerMomma Snead Butcher, without Josie’s inspiration and perseverance through her fight Golden Kidz would have never been formed. Out of love and a willingness to help children just like Josie, Golden Kidz came to life. To my husband Barney Dennison, I love you more than you know for everything you have put up with along this ride from my inability to tell a parent no and emptying our bank account to the long days of me being gone to do Golden Kidz events, you have stood by me and loved me and I will forever be in debt to you for that. Next I would like to thank Kelly Mollyhorn Harrington, Traci Fisher and Mikaela Barnett, from that first meeting with Kelly at Texas Roadhouse, the meeting with Traci at the soccer field and the brainstorming session with Mikaela in my house Golden Kidz took on a life like no other and I am greatly appreciative of your support and love along this ride. I would like to thank all the people who throughout the three years we have been in existence have been there to volunteer , share our story and basically do all the grunt work to get Golden Kidz off the ground and to make it what it is today. To the girls and guys on my board we could never have achieved so much without your guidance, ideas, and downright moxie! Stephanie Green Hall, Tracey Martin Brown, Amber Holley, Kristen Dianna, Kelly Harrington, Mikaela Barnett and Sammie Copley Melvin, you ladies have become my closest friends and confidants. You have lifted me up with I am down, supported me when I needed it, called me names to keep me humble, and together we have brought smiles to so many children’s faces. To all the parents of our Golden Kidz we salute you, you and your children are the reason we do what we do. Your children’s smiles bring so much joy to our lives. And to John Mark Buckland, everyone’s local hero, you have become one of my best friends, mentor and big brother, thank you for taking Golden Kidz along on the ride with Batman, you are truly a wonderful person, but don’t let that go to your head I will be giving you grief before you know it. LOL So everyone stay tuned for what Golden Kidz has in store for the future, we are changing the world one beautiful child at a time!
