A number of you have asked me to let you hear some of the stuff Ive been writing. Heres a little back story to preface the video. Most of you know that I was adopted. My adopted parents were approx 200 yrs old when I was born so growing up, I was subjected to a wide assortment of Brady bunch clothing which usually resulted in me getting punched in the face at school. On a positive note, I developed an appreciation for music that was greatly removed from the time period I was in, specifically, big band music. Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, and a few others youve probably never heard of. This also frequently got me punched in the face. My father had a real love of this era of music. This is a small excerpt of a rock/ big band piece Ive been putting together for a while in memory of him. Almost all my gear is still in Pittsburgh so the recording is really rough. Its actually coming through a BOSS DR-5 and one of those can speakers for an iPod but I think you will get the idea.
