A physically unfit Cadet NCO is a bad leader and example to those Cadets under his/her command. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? I am personally a little in the middle with this statement. I believe that when doing physical exercises, an NCO should be able to keep up and push those who arent so physically fit to improve. Although being unfit does not necessary mean they are bad leaders. They could be absolutely brilliant leaders, able to motivate anyone. If you are leading a Night Ex for example and the rest of your Squad are all more physically fit than you. What type of impression does it give if you have to stop every couple of minutes to regain your breath. I believe that an NCO should be at least as physically fit as the least fit Cadet they are in charge of.
