This is unequivocally not the case. Members of Sinn Féin, or any other party, as Irish citizens are of course welcome and encouraged to participate in the protest on December 10th but their political allegiance in no way reflects the political leanings of anybody else participating in the protests. This is a peoples movement, organised and carried out by the people, and we will not allow it to be hijacked by representatives of the failed party-political system in a cynical attempt to harvest votes.
