A quiet Easter spent snuggling with a clean puppy, crocheting baskets out of recycled sheets (hint, never throw your sheets away, always save them for me), and reading a dissertation about women band directors in California, because I am on the defense committee Tuesday. This last task has pushed me to think I need to make a few waves for the sake of younger lady band directors coming up behind me. But first a peaceful and blessed Easter.
