A recording from Rogers 1984 Hitch Hiking tour, where he was accompanied by fellow fly fisherman Eric Clapton on lead guitar (sweet). Most -if not all- of the performances of 4:33 AM (Running Shoes) had an extra verse which goes as follows: Ooh Babe, whereve ya been? You bring back the feeling the flavour of damp teenage skin and hot afternoons by the river spent crushing the clover I said Lie down, roll over I wanna go back there again Oh baby, sweet Fassbinder lady ooh, whereve ya been? Shame the quality of the recording is not up to modern standards, but after all this is 30 years old. However if I put my headphones on and listen to the entire concert, it doesnt seem to bother me that much. I get into the spirit of things and I can imagine how the real deal must have been back then. I expect there must have been professional recordings made... Id love to see those surface one day... Chances are slim, I know...
