A ride out on the mountain bike in the fading light of the first day of dark nights with the clocks going back this morning. Up to Pole Hill (looped that) across Cowdrey, tunnels athen 3/4 of the Elephant park. Circus, Hercies, Hill Vill via Cedars/Chetwynd. straight to the Brunel Trail, Cowley via Nine elms. Thru tesco and up to Little Britain. I had a hairy ride round that ion the dark, with my lights and head lamp. Tow path to the Denham White Bridge but turbed right and sped under the A40. took the cycle way at Park Farm and zipped along all the way to Long lane through Ickenham, Rode down to Freezeland Way and kerbed it outside the houses and came crashing down. Cut knee and grazed elbow. My derailleurs got bent so i had to do a bit of DIY. Straightened them up and rode home. Nice!
