A severe Category 3 Tropical Cyclone is expected to intensify as it moves towards Queensland posing a significant threat to local communities and is expected to form into a severe Category 4 Cyclone with very destructive winds and very heavy rains and cause landfall. This cyclone is the same that caused the disasters in the Solomon Islands. Fiji is expected to have fine weather tomorrow as Satellite image shows the band of clouds and rainfall over the group is moving fairly quickly. There are isolated heavy falls with thunder in this cloud band and rainfall extends across the west and central divisions, pushing over the east and north this evening. #Ya_Weather_Man ;)
