A terrific surprise appeared on top of my mailbox today (too big to fit inside!) From Marco Villareal. Much thanks, Marco. A package of 10 Classic Metal Works Mini Metals N scale vehicles... 2 1950 Dodges, 2 1959 Ford Fairlanes, 2 International trucks (big heavy brutes) and 4 Ford Country Squire station wagons. My layout isn’t ready to place them, but I immediately knew just where to use them. The Ford Fairlane reminds me of my Dad’s last car, a middle-1950s Ford in Glenmist Green. I don’t have a place to model my Dad’s sheet metal shop, but he often took his work car and a homemade trailer out on job sites to install air conditioning ducts, gutter, downspouts and canopies. He could be working on rehabbing one of the old houses in my Victorian neighborhood.
