A two-year-old boy has tragically died in a Durban hospital after being accidentally shot by a 6-year-old relative while they were playing at home in the Margate area. Details are still a little sketchy but it is believed the boys had been playing at home on the south coast when they found a firearm in their grandmothers bag. She apparently was in the bathroom when she heard a shot ring out. Police say she ran out to find her two-year-old grandson lying on the floor critically hurt, and the six-year-old grandson with the gun in his hands. The polices Thulani Zwane says the woman is likely to face a charge of negligence, among others.
