A while back I wrote about my best friend,Ray Leimkuhler and how he was battling brain cancer,kidney failure and diabetes.Ray lost his fight this morning,but only after a brave struggle. He was a Sergeant in the USMC and had served in Vietnam and also in the Dominican Republic campaign. His daughter and one of his sons are veterans of our most recent wars. I pray that he rests in peace-he was a good American,and dad and Marine Thanks to all here who conveyed their good wishes and prayers-his family knew of that and appreciated it.
