A year ago today I released my first single Mercy as an independent artist. Writing this song has brought a lot of amazing opportunities into my life even though I wrote it from a not so nice experience. Mercy first led me to my producer, the amazing Grammy winner Paul Ebersold who produced the original song that debuted on Billboard. It led me to my dear friends at Bollywood America who helped me create my first music video that premiered on Vevo. It created a friendship with my rad remix producer Daniel Simmons who is an incredible talent. Mercy still continues to make moves as it is now nominated to win an Unsigned Only Award in the Top 40/POP Category (unsignedonly/winners) Most importantly, Mercy has been nominated to be performed at my 4 year old cousin Rhysees dance recital (REALLY hoping I win this one too #crossingmyfingers) Heres to turning lemon into lemonade, being fearless and letting the world hear you!
