A year ago today was the worse day of my familys life, We will never ever forget it, but with the help of special friends we have somehow managed to survive the year, Special thanks to all Vickies friends who have come round every month and shared their memories with Lynn, Gemma and Sarah. We miss her so badly, that wonderful smile, that lovely giggle, but mostly the way she loved everyone. I have to put how I feel in the only way I know how..... Missing you. Its been a year since we were left so brokenhearted, so bereft, Too soon your soul to heaven flew It broke our hearts, we all miss you. We hear a sound out in the hall, A creaking floor really was all, But hearts beat fast, they wont subdue We sit there thinking, was that you.? A feather lays upon the ground So pure, so white yet so profound, We picked it up, twas damp from dew That lonely feather, Was it you? The memories all come flooding back, Most things are white, some things are black We look around this house you knew, In every room, we just see you. Your room is untouched, just the same, your face beams out from within a frame, Gods reason we cannot construe We always ask, why you, why you? Then My Girl plays on the radio, Reminds us how we loved you so, Wonderful memories then ensue Memories of how much we loved you. They say that time heals, that isnt so. Each day we weep, our spirits low, Our friends can see what we go through, just how we feel, why were so blue. We know youre here, your aura we feel trying to help our broken hearts heal, Stay with us darling, especially today Help us get through in your special way. How do we describe how we feel, Nothing seems right, nothing seems real Were glad that were old, time nearly through, It means well soon be there beside you.
