ABORIGINAL COMMUNITIES Aboriginal communities have limited opportunities to develop commercial opportunities and despite awareness of governments of the ongoing issues over decades, little is being done to advance the interests of tribal people in Australia and allow them to become less reliant on social welfare. (We have been requested to use the terminology “tribal” by key Aboriginal leaders.) Australian Voice proposes the development of aquaculture and hydroponics (aquaponics) joint ventures with Aboriginal communities. This is an opportunity to provide Australia with a fully sustainable industry that can produce organic seafood and vegetables for domestic and export markets.
