ABS lost their Premier League status on the last day of the 2012/13 season in Warri after they were defeated 1-0 by Warri Wolves. There have been attempts by several top flight clubs to lure Dogo to their side, but he said to supersport in Ilorin that: My mind is still with ABS, but my future is in Gods hand.
