ADMIN: WARNING We were messaged by a supporter tonight, to tell us that her Cocker was attacked by a pack of Dingo pups in Gympie, QLD. She wanted us to alert people that this is the time of year when they are out learning to hunt. Sweet Lexi was enjoying her morning walk down the track with the other dogs when she ran off after them and came out second best. PLEASE watch out for dingoes, she is lucky her family found her. She was in shock for 6 hours and they werent sure she would make it. But she is a fighter with 20 puncture wounds and many bruises she is now at home recovering and will have more operations with daily vet visits. I decided not to post the pic they sent - its pretty graphic, and would distress some people. Please remember that Dingos are wild animals, not domestic dogs and great care should be taken at all times in areas they are known to frequent. **This is NOT to say Lexis owners didnt take care, they were caught by surprise - they wanted us to let everyone know so that this doesnt happen to others, they do not blame the Dingos.
