ADVERTIME OUR NEXT MEETING FOR THE SUPERSTOX IS AT WIMBLEDON STADIUM THIS SUNDAY THE 5TH OCTOBER WITH A START TIME OF 530 PM. THE DRIVERS WILL BE RACING FOR THE BIGGEST PRIZE IN THE SPORT THE 2014 SUPERSTOX CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD IN THEIR BIGGEST MEETING OF THE SEASON. At the moment there are 37 drivers booked for it. The complete list can be seen below. OTHER WORLD FINAL NEWS As mentioned previously there will be a display of REPLICA Superstox which you can see and view at the OLD SKOOL SUPERSTOX MARQUEE at the entrance to the stadium at the MICK THE MILLER ENCLOSURE. The cars on display will be the old 320 Dave Pierce car from 1968, 41 Gordon McDougall and 111 Mac McCarthy plus the original car of 691 Brian Bearman which he used to race at this stadium in the 70s. We may also have the original car of 529 Barry Plummer on display still with hints of shale on the wheels on the car the last time he raced it in 1974. There will also be a BWS STYLE AUTOGRAPH SESSION at the above mentioned marquee involving several of the WORLD CHAMPIONS of our favourite sport. This list is mightily impressive. Already confirmed are 320 Dave Pierce, 323 Dave Turner and 51 Chopper Colin Aylward. They are alongside the current still racing ex/ current World champions who will be competing in tonights race. They are 60 Ben Marjoram, 69 Shaun Brooker,151 Nick Smith, the Tartan Tornado himself from Scotland 177 Stuart Gilchrist, the current WORLD CHAMPION 376 STEVEN JACKSON and last but by no means least 482 Jason Cooper. So have your pens and cameras at the ready. This session will take place between the times of 330 and 5 just prior to the meeting as part of the build up to the evening. Also hoping to attend are 500 Alan Wardropper, 531 Biffo Sweeney, 22 Mark Kelman, 18 Mark Eaton and 88 Darren Innocent. Their attendance will be confirmed once I have it. We have supporters coming from far and wide for this. We have several coming from Scotland, Holland and even Sir fence a lots coach tours are back in business from Les Wallers best mate Weggie Kevin Wegg, a touring party coming down from East Anglia for the event.
