AGM held on 08 Aug 2013 by the Mahavir Enclave Durgapuja Samity at Kalibari has been conducted and accordingly the audit report submitted by the Mahilabrinda was accepted. The President Smt Deepa Moitra declared the earlier committee dissolved. The announcement by Mr Ashok Nanda, GS Kalibari Samity that Core Committee comprising the under mentioned have been finalised by resolution taken by the Samity to select the Durga Puja Samity:- 1. Smt Minati Bhattacharya, Puja Secy, Kalibari Samity 2. Shri Sandeep Chatterjee, Treasurer, Kalibari Samity 3. Shri Debojit Kar(Tidi), Organising Secy, Kalibari Samity 4. Shri Sushanto Dhar, Cultural Secy, Kalibari Samity 5. Shri Joy Chowdhury, Executive Member, Kalibari Samity The Core Committee will decide and finalise the Durgapuja Samity 2013-14. Here these core committee members are selecting suitable individuals to conduct the Durga Puja 2013-14. They are the APEX Body...the Core Committee. For every major decision and actions needed in conducting the Puja the committee must take prior approval of the Core Committee. So all who are agree with this otherwise some family members of the Core Committee may volunteer for the Durga Puja Samity this year. The youth who can deliver in action were not called for to seek opinion. They have been ignored otherwise if selected will be subjected to report the Core Committtee. If Kalibari Samity is the deciding factor and Apex Body to conduct the Durga Puja 2013-14 , then the source of these responsibility comes from each and every member of the Kalibari Samity. But the Executive Body has steered the today meeting because Mahilabrinda led by Smt Deepa Mitra had declared earlier Puja Committee dissolved. Then why AGM 2013-14 is called .....it will be few (not all) Executive Body Meeting for conducting the Durga Puja 2013-14. Because in AGM where all members are involved and a decisive factor to nominate and select the Durga Puja Samity whereas today it is something not accepted to be called as AGM but Core Committee meeting.
