No. 0761-2661538 E-mail : premkumarmalhotra@gmail ______________________________________________________________________ Circul No.12/2014 Date :-19-11-2014 TO ALL PENSIONERS & RETIREES Dear Friends, 3 rd Meeting of the Managing Committee of AIBPARC held at Kolkata on 9th Nov.14 The 3rd meeting of the Managing Committee and sole meeting of General Council of AIBPARC was held at Kolkata on 9th November 2014. The meeting commenced with the submission of Secretary Report, which included : - - Tamil Nadu State Convention of AIBPARC took place on 6th September 2014 at Chennai. On 7th September 2014, XI Annual Conference of ARISE took place. Both the above were inaugurated by Com.S. R. Sengupta,Gen.Sec.-AIBPARC. Others present were Com. K. Chandrasekran (State Sec.-AIBPARC.),Com.P.P.S.Murthy Gen.Sec.-SBI Pensioners Assoc.) & Com.K.V.Acharya (President-AIBPARC). Leaders touched upon the statutory rights in Pension Regulation for pension updation. - The 1st Triennial Conference of All India PNB Pensioners & Retirees Association, successfully held at Jabalpur on 12 th Oct.14, was highly appreciated and the newly elected team was congratulated. - Com.A.V.V.Raghav Rao (Sec.- A.P. State unit of AIBPARC), has submitted a memorandum to Ms. Nirmala Sitaraman, Union Minister of State of Commerce, listing out various issues of Bank employees and retirees. - IBA is inclined to favourably consider the demand of 100% DA on pension to pre Nov. 2002 retirees. IBA is still working on the cost aspect of improved family pension in line with Govt. / RBI employees and a favourable decision is expected soon. IBA raised the issue of high cost for updation and at the insistence of UFBU agreed to examine any viable or affordable proposition offered by UFBU in this regard. - Regular follow up at political level is being maintained. Secretary Report was unanimously adopted and the action points were discussed with a decision of considering the proposal of Dharna programe to be held in the 1st week of February 2015. With this the meeting ended with a Vote of Thanks. 1st Triennial Conference of All India PNB Pensioners & Retirees Association of Himachal Pradesh State was held at Sunder Nagar, Distt.Mandi (HP), on 16 th Nov.14. Shri G.S.Gandok, Field General Manager of H.P.& J.K., was the Chief Guest. Shri P.K.Malhotra, General Secretary - AIPNBPRA, was the Guest of Honour. The meeting was well attended by 200 pensioners / retirees coming from various parts of the hilly track of H.P. The Chief Guest referred the pensioners / retirees as the honble ambassadors of the Bank and was of the opinion that due recognition to them and cognizance to their demands be given. Prior to hs address, Shri Malhotra welcomed the gathering, elaborated the demands of pensioners & retirees with a submission of the latest position underlining the unity & presence on the platform Of AIPNBPRA required. Shri J.P.Sharma & Shri Dhruv Sharma, State Secretary, respectively, in their address informed the activities of the State unit, designated District wise representatives to activate the association, presented the accounts and Report and appreciated the enthusiasm exhibited by the the pensioners with their presence. Leaders from AIPNBOA also participated and expressed their support to AIPNBPRA. The sustained efforts of Sh.Dhruv Sharma, Sec.- AIPNBPRA - HP, for compiling a book on PNB Pension (Employees) Pension Regulations - 1995, were appreciated and the book was released. With Greetings.
