#APC Governors Pay Governor Rotimi Amaechi a Solidarity Visit# Governor of Osun State, Engr. Rauf Arigbesola, Deputy Gov. of IMO State, Prince Eze Madumere and Gov. of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi entangled in a vital issue during a solidarity visit on Governor Rotimi Amechi of Rivers State in Rivers State House. Rivers State was taken by storm with the visit of Progressive Governors led by Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola in solidarity to Gov. Chibuike Rotimi Amechi over the recent security breach and other political situation in Rivers State. Among the States represented were eight, which include Lagos, Imo, Zamfara, Ekiti, Osun, Ogun, Nassarawa, Oyo and Edo State. Five Governors and Three Deputy Governors of the mentioned States were present. Among the Governors were Babatunde Fashola, Amosun, Ogbeni Aregbesola, Kayode Fayemi and Abiola Ajimobi. Among the Deputy Governors representing other Governors were Prince Eze Madumere MFR for Imo State, Mamudu Shinkafi for Zamfara State and his Nassarawa counterpart. The delegation called on the Inspector General of Police to quickly call his men to order and restore law and order ones again in the State. They further called on the Chairman of NGF and Governor of River State to further brief Mr. President on the security situation in Rivers State. It will recalled that four Northern Governors had last Tuesday paid a visit Rivers State in solidarity with their colleague Governor, Governor Rotimi Amaechi over the down turn of political and security development in the State. Meanwhile, supporters of Rivers State Governor were sighted around the Govt House and other strategic places welcoming the Visiting Governors to Rivers State.
