AREGBESOLA AND AIDES II : The Chief of Staff, Gboyega Oyetola started very well with his governor. After all, he is Aregbesola’s godfather’s cousin. But soon after Bola Tinubu suggested his name as the next governor in the state, things gradually begin to change. Till now, Oyetola and Aregbesola are miles apart and the governor has ensured that major files never passed through his table again. Oyetola is known as the “only sane” in Aregbesola’s cabinet while others are “Yes sir, Oga you are right”. The Deputy Chief of Staff, Gbenga Adebusuyi is “Mr. Fix it”. You hardly hear of him. Adebusuyi served as the Personal Assistant (PA) to Baba Akande during his inglorious days in office. Egbon is a strong guy o. Even, General Sani Abacha men knew that he was a real man. Adebusuyi “is the man who answers greetings through his nose”. The most dangerous person in this government apart from Aregbesola himself is Adebusuyi. Any time I think of the 2014 governorship election, the man who crosses my mind is Adebusuyi. He is a “Man of Blood”. In the days of Akande he was known as the leader of Gbagba boys. Hun, Odunayo Olagbaju Orun re o. Dr Oyebade Olowogboyega…hin pele o. The three Assistant Chiefs of Staff are my friends. Although, it’s almost three years now that I’ve seen them last, they are now big men. I sincerely express my sympathy to one of you, Barrister Adebisi Adejare who was caught in the cross-fire in the office. I wish him quick recovery. To Hon Oguntola Toogun, we see you o. Gbenga Akano, the lawyer, I want to let you know that the people in your neighborhood are complaining seriously with the way you cruise your Jeep around o. They said you were Gbenga, the activist then but now it is Gbenga the oppressor. Jeje o. I even learnt oga is not treating you well again because you are from the same town, Iragbiji with Oyetola. Don’t bother yourself. All I know is that your level has changed. Wale Bolorunduro is the Commissioner for Finance. He is in charge of strategic plans on how Aregbesola found it easy to borrow money. Now, we are under the yoke of huge debt. He moves around with his retinue from Lagos. But anytime I think Bolorunduro, I remember how this man, then a staff of Zenith Bank was duped in 2006 by a woman. He lost N17.5 million to 419 agents in an attempt to buy a plot of land in Lekki Phase 2. I hope Osun is not being swindled again. Today, not even Aregbesola knows how much this state owes but Bolorunduro. He is a major beneficiary of “Returns” in this government. Ha! Sunday Akere who is the Commissioner of Information is now a graduate of “Property Acquisition”. He was a Christian brother in Bishop Mike Bamidele’s church, Victory Chapel International but today, Akere holds a chieftaincy title of Akinrogun going around with beads on his left wrist. He is a beloved Omo Awo in Aregbesola’s cabinet. He threw away Christ for the world. He now enjoys money and power. I learnt Akere is planning to go to the National Assembly in 2015. I wish him well. Muyiwa Ige is the Commissioner for Land and he is Mr. Bulldozer. Where was he coming from? Muyiwa was nobody but for his father, Late Bola Ige. He is Omo-omo Awo anyway. Bola Ilori is Aregbesola’s Special Adviser on Environment. He is also one of the Omo Awo. The Ondo state born Ilori has rendered his Commissioner, one Professor Oyawoye useless in this ministry. He was a governorship hopeful in Ondo state and he is still using some of his loots in Osun to oil his political machinery in the Sunshine state. Many of his family members are contractors in the Ministry of Environment. Or who planted flowers at Aregbesola’s “Freedom Park”? Another Omo Awo is the Commissioner for Special Duties, Ajibola Bashir. Bashir’s wife is one of those illegally installed Magistrates in the state. He was a major player in Aregbesola’s Fake Police Report scandal. He has made several millions of naira in this government and he is eyeing the House of Representatives. Hun, we are watching! I call on all Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members to stop this fighting please. I can assure you that Aregbesola won’t spend a day longer than his tenure in 2014. He has completed his assignment in Osun and God has anointed a new person to govern this state. Therefore, I particularly urge both Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Otunba Iyiola Omisore and their supporters to sheathe their swords now. Let there be peace please! For the generations yet unborn,
